Snow White Bedtime Story

Once upon a time, in a kingdom nestled between tall, snow-covered mountains, there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She was known throughout the land for her radiant beauty, her kind heart, and her love for all living creatures, big and small.

Snow White's mother, the queen, had passed away when she was just a baby, and her father, the king, had married again, bringing a new queen into the palace. This new queen was extraordinarily beautiful, but she was also vain and wicked. She had a magical mirror that she would consult every day, asking, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" And for many years, the mirror would reply, "You, my queen, are the fairest."

But as Snow White grew older, her beauty surpassed that of the queen, and one day, the mirror answered differently. "Snow White, dear Snow White, is now the fairest in the land," it said. The queen's heart filled with jealousy, and she hatched a wicked plan.

She called for her huntsman, a burly man with a kind heart, and ordered him to take Snow White deep into the forest and to bring back her heart as proof of the deed. The huntsman, unable to harm the innocent princess, let her go and returned with the heart of a wild boar instead.

Lost and frightened in the vast forest, Snow White stumbled upon a little cottage, its thatched roof covered in snow. Inside, she found seven tiny beds, seven little chairs, and a table set with seven plates and seven forks. The cottage belonged to seven dwarfs who worked in the nearby mines.

When the dwarfs returned home that evening, they were surprised to find Snow White asleep in their beds. She awoke and, with her sweet demeanor, explained her story to them. The dwarfs were touched by her kindness and beauty, and they agreed to let her stay with them.

Snow White became a part of their family, taking care of their home while they worked in the mines. Each day, the wicked queen would consult her mirror, and each day, it would tell her that Snow White was still the fairest in the land. Consumed by envy, the queen tried various tricks to harm Snow White, but each time, the princess was saved by the kindness of the dwarfs.

One day, the queen disguised herself as an old peddler woman and offered Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White took a bite and fell into a deep slumber, just as the queen had hoped. The dwarfs, finding her lifeless, built a glass coffin for her and placed it in a glade.

One day, a prince from a neighboring kingdom came across the glass coffin and was captivated by Snow White's beauty. He asked the dwarfs about her, and they told him her story. The prince leaned down and kissed Snow White gently on the lips. His love and true kiss broke the curse, and Snow White awakened.

Snow White and the prince were married in a grand celebration, and they invited the dwarfs to live in the palace with them, where they all lived happily ever after. The wicked queen, upon hearing of Snow White's revival, was filled with rage and jealousy. However, her heart was eventually consumed by her own wickedness.

And so, Snow White's beauty, kindness, and love conquered all, and she lived a life filled with happiness and love in her enchanted kingdom, where her beauty truly shone both inside and out. And they all lived happily ever after.
